The estate
Domaine des Pierrettes, its terroir and history
The vines of Domaine des Pierrettes express themselves
for over 50 years in the heart of the
Loire Valley châteaux. Planted less than
kilometer of its river on flint clay soils, the
precious plants produce
an authentic nectar from Touraine.
In 2018, Gilles Tamagnan, who spent 25 years abroad in
The United States returns to France to
fulfil his dream. Passionate about nature and wine,
he acquired the Domaine des
Pierrettes, and begins his vision.
Its first contribution: a range of wines with no added sulfites,
was his first building block for
the building. The HVE certification was immediately obtained, and from 2021,
the estate begins its
organic conversion. The estate is now certified organic.
The experiments continue, combining tradition and innovation,
new ideas
emerge. After all, why not plant Viognier,
make an orange wine or age a Sauvignon in acacia barrels?
The wines
In addition to Sauvignon, which accounts for
a large part of our harvest is made into wines,
all as single-varietal wines to guarantee authenticity.
The Touraine-Amboise appellation is growing rapidly.
is represented by our red Côt (Malbec)
and in white by our Chenin, aged in oak barrels.
This grape variety is also made using the traditional method
to produce one of our flagship cuvées, Fines Bulles Blanches.
We also make red Cabernet Franc
and Gamay as rosé and red wines.
A welcoming venue
To showcase this story, the
the summer season focuses on wine tourism.
Historically located along the Loire at
Vélo, where more than 50,000 cyclists
cross the vineyards each year,
he is committed to the Pierrettes team
to welcome its customers in the best possible way
ways.
Concert evenings are regularly
held throughout the summer and a
in partnership with the AirMagic hot-air balloon company
promises a stunning view of the Loire.
Of course, with a tasting of the estate's wines at
landing.

In addition to welcoming visitors, the estate comes to you!
In addition to spring and autumn fairs, the team travels throughout France to deliver directly to customers and stay close to them. 300 people receive home deliveries each year.
